Under sommaren 2022 medverkar jag i workshopen CERMONIELL TRÄSKULPTUR arrangerad av Surprise Laboratory International. Resultatet av experimenterandet blev VINK. Två träblock i en relation till varandra. För mig var det klart att vilja måla blocken. Primärt för att få formen att framträda tydligare, att låta belysta ytor, halvdagrar och skuggor förstärka uttrycket.

VINK är en lek vi lekte som barn. En utomhus lek en variant på dunkgömme. Under hösten visade vi hela workshopen på SYDOSTEN united Kalmar Konstmuseum. Två verk medverkade och ett bildspel gav möjlighet att se resten av objekten.

During the summer of 2022, I participated in the workshop CERMONIAL WOOD SCULPTURE organised by Surprise Laboratory International. The result of the experimentation was VINK. Two wooden blocks in a relationship with each other. For me, it was clear that I wanted to paint the blocks. Primarily to make the shape stand out more clearly, to let illuminated surfaces, half-days and shadows enhance the expression.

VINK is a game we played as children. An outdoor game. During the autumn we showed the entire workshop at SYDOSTEN united Kalmar Konstmuseum. Two works participated and a slideshow gave the opportunity to see the rest of the objects.
