Nu tar vi f\u00f6rsta steget i projektet och \u00e5ker till Tallin f\u00f6r att f\u00f6rs\u00f6ka sp\u00e5ra stockens ursprung och unders\u00f6ka m\u00f6jligheterna till att g\u00f6ra ett gemensamt projekt med skulpt\u00f6rer i Estland. On one of our research trips for Surprise Laboratory International, we came across this gigantic log. It stands in the courtyard of Raja, a monumental workshop in Tallinn. Per Brandstedt has since created a project called The Stump in Tallinn, which I have been invited to participate in. We are now taking the first step in the project and travelling to Tallinn to try to trace the origin of the log and explore the possibilities of doing a joint project with sculptors in Estonia.
